Before you leave South Korea after your program ends and your visa expires, you have to return your ARC. But how do you do this?
After going through security at Incheon Airport in the international departures terminal, you are required to go through an immigration check. Once you reach this point there are two options: 1) an unmanned kiosk, or 2) a manned desk with an immigration officer. Go to option two with the immigration officer. It is here they will ask you if you are leaving Korea permanently and then will take your ARC.
It is a pretty simple process, but it was something that was never explain to me in detail before or while I was studying in South Korea.
